Ropes Course
The Bedford YMCA ropes course is one of the best kept secrets
in Bedford County. Although many people aren't aware of it, Bedford
YMCA Summer Camps, the Bedford YMCA Day Services Program participants,
Bedford YMCA soccer teams, and Bedford County students have all
enjoyed the elements. A lot of children have had really cool birthday
parties using the high ropes course. Exciting staff trainings
have been held on the high ropes and challenge courses. Plus our
YMCA staff have even traveled to businesses to put their employees
through a group initiative course on site!

Day Services Program
The Bedford Area Family YMCA has teamed with Bedford County and
City to offer a program for at risk youth. The program serves
to positively redirect the energy and attention of the youth in
a healthy, safe, and productive environment. The program is used
as an alternative to secure detention, and to keep youth off the
streets and out of trouble. |
